Business Banking Officer

Located in Bismarck, the Business Banking Officer is responsible for soliciting, developing, and managing commercial banking relationships. Responsibilities include gathering information and analyzing credit requests, making credit decisions, generating prospects through active sales call efforts and community involvement and administering a loan portfolio within bank policy and regulatory guidelines.

Qualified applicants will have a bachelor's degree and possess strong financial analysis, customer service and sales skills. Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of commercial lending experience and a working knowledge of documentation, compliance and regulatory standards. Familiarity with SBA loan programs is a plus, along with proficiency using Microsoft Excel.

Branch Manager

Relationship Officer

Located in Fargo, this position is responsible for all phases of the sales life cycle relating to the commercial cash management products. Business Loan Assistant

Bank of North Dakota

Hiring Range: $42,500 - $47,000 annually.

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week and generally 8am to 5pm with schedule flexibility and extended work hours when needed.

Summary of Work:
This position will be responsible for providing administrative assistance in support of complex lending programs. This position will review loan documentation and loan files. Primary duties include processing new loan applications, preparing commitment letters, obtaining and reviewing all documentation required for funding participation loans, tracking on-going file documentation and completing various department reports or projects.

Duties and Tasks:
Obtain and review loan documentation including but not limited to financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, UCC, mortgages, title work, appraisals, flood determinations, lien searches, loan covenants/conditions and loan denials.
Generate commitment letters based on approved credit presentation.
Interacts regularly with customers.
Fund participation loans by confirming with lead bank, completing data entry, and updating reports.
Fund direct loans by working with an appraiser, borrower, and closing attorney. Prepare documentation, complete data entry, and update reports for direct loans.
Maintain tickler system.
Input customer data into software applications.

Minimum Qualifications:
Requires an associate degree with coursework in accounting, office support, business or related financial services coursework.
Requires four years of experience performing a variety of high-level administrative assistance duties in support of complex lending portfolios including but not limited to obtaining and reviewing loan documentation, loan file maintenance, processing loan applications and commitment letters.
Must have a working knowledge of Word and Excel.
Additional work experience as just described may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with agriculture and or commercial lending and documentation experience is preferred.
